John is an experienced corporate adviser, investor and entrepreneur with a distinguished career spanning law, finance and business development. He was formerly Global Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Baker & McKenzie, advising on major corporate transactions and international investments.

Following his legal career, John became an entrepreneur and co-founder of several successful businesses, including Little Creatures, White Energy and Krispy Kreme Australia. His experience encompasses business formation, capital raising, corporate strategy and the commercialisation of innovative ideas across multiple industries.

At Savana, John brings extensive experience in corporate development, governance and strategic investment, supporting the firm's long-term growth and commercialisation of its proprietary investment technology.

Steve is the chief architect behind Savana’s proprietary investment algorithms and systematic research framework. Over a multi-decade career in financial markets, he has held roles at UBS, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics from the University of Sydney and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, where he won the University Prize for Portfolio Management. He has also undertaken postgraduate studies in Stochastic Finance and Complex Systems at the Santa Fe Institute where he was introduced to the ubiquity and potential of collective computation.

At Savana, Steve leads the development and refinement of the firm’s systematic investment technology and valuation algorithms.

John is an experienced global business leader, investor and strategic adviser with extensive experience in corporate strategy, technology and digital transformation. He was formerly Global Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy Chair of Deloitte's Global Board, helping shape the strategic direction of one of the world's largest professional services organisations.

John is also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Centerstone Capital, an investment firm focused on supporting innovative businesses and emerging technologies. His experience spans corporate governance, investment strategy, organisational transformation and the commercialisation of technology-driven business models.

At Savana, John provides strategic guidance on corporate development, technology commercialisation and international growth, helping position the firm to scale its systematic investment platform.

Evan brings more than 25 years of financial markets experience spanning investment management, structured derivatives and exchange-traded funds. He was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Global X ETFs Australia, where he helped build and manage more than 50 new ETFs since 2015, establishing extensive expertise in product development, capital markets and distribution.

Earlier in his career, Evan held equity and foreign exchange derivatives roles at leading financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, ANZ and Westpac. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from King's College London, alongside Commerce and Science degrees from UNSW.

At Savana, Evan is focused on building the business into a leading next-generation ETF provider — combining institutional distribution, product strategy and industry relationships to scale Savana’s systematic investment platform across multiple strategies and markets.

Samuel has a background spanning investment research, structured finance and business development, with experience across Australia and the United Kingdom. He began his career at Savana in 2018, contributing to the early development and testing of the firm's proprietary investment algorithms.

Samuel subsequently spent more than five years in structured finance, including two years in London supporting the international expansion of a financial technology business. His experience encompasses financial modelling, investment analysis, capital markets and commercial strategy.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, graduating with Distinction in Finance. At Savana, he works across investment research, portfolio analytics, fund operations and business development, helping translate the firm's investment technology into scalable products and commercial opportunities.

Mark is a technology and data infrastructure specialist with more than eight years of experience spanning software engineering, cloud architecture and enterprise technology solutions. His background includes technology consulting at IBM Global Business Services, where he worked on the development and implementation of complex technology systems.

Mark's expertise encompasses data engineering, machine learning, cloud infrastructure and AI-powered applications. He specialises in designing scalable data pipelines, automating complex workflows and integrating emerging artificial intelligence capabilities into enterprise technology platforms.

At Savana, Mark is responsible for developing and maintaining the technology infrastructure underpinning the firm's systematic investment process, including its data architecture, automated valuation workflows and AI-powered research and operational capabilities.
